SPA #1 Nails is more than just a Warrington nail salon. It's a convenient, full service beauty salon where you can have your pick of: pampering facials, eyebrows shaped, eyelash extensions, massage or wax, and nails painted with one of our more than 400 choices of polish - unique nail art, or enhanced with elaborate designs in gel or acrylic, and so much more.
Highest standards in spa sanitation are performed using the newest pipe-free technology and disinfectant after every customer. All metal implements are sterilized in anti-bacterial and anti-fungal solution.
Acrylic Nails
Acrylic nails are very popular due to their low cost. Acrylic nails are the strongest and last the longest of all the nail overlays. But, if Acrylic nails aren't done well, Acrylic nails can look thick and artificial. This type usually needs to be filled in every two to three weeks.
Gel Nails
Manicurists use a Mylar form to sculpt your nail, and then cure, or set, it under an UV light. Because of this process, gel nails may need to be filled in less often than acrylic nails, though fill-ins are still necessary, and a professional must remove the tips. Gel Acrylics are the quickest to apply, instant dry and practically odorless.
Pink & White
"Pink and White" refers to the use of two colors of acrylic applied to the nails to produce a more permanent, natural-looking “French” manicure look. The tips of the nails are sculpted using white acrylic and the base of the nail is then overlayed with warm or cool pink, depending on your skin tone.
I like the look (besides natural nails of any length) of gel nails best. The idea is that eventually you will have your own natural nail with a gel overlay for strength and durability. I think the chemicals in the gel nails are a little better too.
Polish change
A polish change is a nice treat to yourself between appointments. Depending on your lifestyle, polish can become "dull" or begin to wear off at the tips of your enhancements. Your nail technician/manicurist will simply remove your old polish and apply fresh, new polish to your nail enhancements.
Traditional Manicure
A detailed manicure in a minimum amount of time. Nails are perfectly filed and shaped, followed by a gentle exfoliation. Complete your manicure with a choice of nail color. 15-20 minutes.
P.S. Manicuring does NOT include the removal of corns and calluses, but does include the removal of thin, dry skin for cosmetic purposes with a pumice stone or similar no-metal instrument. NO RAZOR TOOLS ARE PERMITTED - this is the practice of a podiatry. (PA Board of Cosmetology)
Spa Deluxe Manicure
A relaxing treatment that leaves your hands and nails beautiful and refreshed. An exfoliation followed by a tension relieving massage with a specially blended cream to moisturize, soothe and prepare hands for a paraffin treatment. A choice of nail color completes the experience. 20-25 minutes
Gentlemen’s Manicure
A professional nail grooming session for men. Nails and cuticles are filed and clipped followed by a gentle exfoliation. Finish the manicure with a nail buff, no polish. 15-20 minutes
Traditional Pedicure
A detailed pedicure that includes cleansing, exfoliation, shaping, grooming and a relaxing massage. Complete your pedicure with a choice of nail color. 25-30 minutes
Spa Deluxe Pedicure
Relax as we give your feet the attention they are so often denied. Pamper them with this deluxe pedicure: receive a gentle exfoliation, scrub, mask, stress relieving massage and moisturizing massage oil treatment. Finish with your choice of nail color. 40-45 minutes
Gentlemen’s Pedicure
A professional nail grooming session for men. Nails and cuticles are filed and clipped followed by a gentle exfoliation and relaxing massage. Finish the pedicure with a nail buff, no polish. 30-35 minutes
